At the height of the mining activity in La Oroya, Chulek an emblematic mining camp was built, generating social and cultural divisions between the "engineers" and the inhabitants of the area. In this context of dichotomies, a post-punk cultural and musical scene is born, and manages to coexists with the floklore and traditional culture.
